Penney, and Sears, making it one of the largest malls in the north Dallas area. In addition, the mall features beautiful atriums, a food court, a 12-screen movie theater, and over 160 specialty shops.
- The Gaylord Texan – The $515 million Gaylord Texan Resort and Conference Center, on the shores of Lake Grapevine, opened in May 2004. The 1,511 room deluxe property, which boasts 400,000 sf of convention and meeting space, is the largest in-hotel convention center in the State of Texas. Only minutes from DFW International Airport, the massive Texas-themed project is giving a major boost to the local tourism and retail sectors. Ripley Entertainment has announced plans to build an aquarium entertainment center on a 52-acre tract next door to the Gaylord Texan Resort, Dallas Cowboys Golf Club and the Grapevine Mills Mall on S.H. 26.
- Grapevine Mills Mall – just 5 miles southwest of the property is Grapevine Mills Mall, encompassing approximately 1.6 million sf of shopping and entertainment. It features a food court, a 30-screen movie theater, indoor ice skating rinks, a skate park and several gaming entertainment options.
- Stonebriar Centre – located approximately twelve miles northeast of the property at Preston Road and Highway 121, Stonebriar Centre has over one million sf of shopping, including anchor stores such as Nordstrom’s, Foley’s, Dillard’s and Sears. It features a food court, a 24-screen movie theater, an ice skating rink and over 165 specialty shops.
